On the technology front, the features have been broken down into six smart functionalities: SMART POWER enables users to access 4 hours of power backup for uninterrupted power supply. SMART WIRELESS with fiber and a wireless backhaul and dynamic switchover. SMART USAGE creates mini instances of the Wi-Fi with variable bandwidth, speeds and data download allowances for each device based on user profile. SMART STORAGE enables a house to share a common drive for storing pictures, videos, music relevant to the family. SMART BANDWIDTH which alerts when usage is likely to exceed thresholds based on patterns of usage.
Adding to this are the SMART HOME functionalities which enable the power of the IoT to provide a household with safety and comfort. With a small IoT accessory designed, the ‘ROVR’ can provide functionalities such as temperature, humidity, gas detection, motion sensors and cameras which can alert the home owners with a call or SMS. More innovative IoT features can be accessed by a household with additional accessories in the future as more integrations are added by the company into the Connectivity Suite.
